Customer Care Representative

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a Customer Care Representative on the Centralized Banking team. The Customer Care Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and add to the positive growth of the Bank by providing solutions to customer needs and promoting products and services that meet their needs.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent service to customers both in person, and over the phone.
  • Providing prompt, efficient service while minimizing wait time and giving customers full attention, including identifying needs and matching them with proper products and/or services.
  • Providing problem resolution, quoting rates and calculating interest, processing stop payments and transfers.
  • Cross-selling Bank products and services whenever possible, keeping abreast of all Bank offerings.
  • Providing first level of support to customers with online banking products and services.
  • Following established Bank procedures and practices to ensure completeness and accuracy of work.
  • Working with other banking departments to promptly solve customer concerns and issues, as needed.
  • Responding to incoming messages received through the Bank’s online banking platform, ensuring accurate, professional, and timely delivery of responses.
  • This position requires flexible work hours.

Requirements of the position are a high school diploma, or equivalent, a basic knowledge of banking law and regulations related to bank operations. Banking experience and call center experience is preferred. The Customer Care Representative must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and work accurately with close attention to detail and have the ability to understand and describe Bank products and services in a concise manner.

The successful Customer Care Representative will also have excellent customer service and communication skills, good organizational and multi-tasking skills, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.

  • Assisting customers with payment processing and other tasks including safe deposit access, stop payments, interest rate quotes, and account inquiries.
  • Adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and balancing rules.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements of the position are a high school diploma or equivalent, and an understanding of banking laws and regulations. The Teller must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work accurately with close attention to detail, and have the ability to understand and describe Bank products and services, including cross-selling appropriate products and services. Tellers must also have a good understanding of safety issues and the ability to identify potential fraud and fraudulent items.

BSA Analyst

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a BSA Analyst. The BSA Analyst ensures compliance with laws and regulations that govern banking institutions by assisting the BSA Officer with the implementation, coordination and monitoring of all BSA/AML compliance programs for the Bank and any affiliates.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Maintain knowledge (functional, operations, and legal) of the rules and regulations related to banking, including, but not limited to: the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC.
  • Utilize software solutions to identify accounts that appear to have unusual and/or suspicious activity.
  • Assist in the CTR filing process.
  • Assist in the CTR exemption process, including, but not limited to application preparation and annual reviews.
  • Assist in monitoring for OFAC compliance, including, but not limited to reviewing transactions and reports.
  • Assist with 314(a) certifications.
  • Monitor the sale of monetary instruments to ensure the BSA recordkeeping requirements are met and, where applicable, review the respective reports/systems for the detection of unusual and/or suspicious activity.
  • Conduct periodic analysis of the high and medium risk customer groups.
  • Monitor customer activity, and forward suspicious transactions to the BSA Officer, as needed.
  • Prepare and proofread any reports, or other related documents that illustrate the Bank’s compliance with BSA and other laws and regulations.

Requirements of the position include a bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent related experience, and a minimum of five years of experience with knowledge of bank operations, including a basic knowledge, understanding, and application of bank regulatory requirements, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful BSA Analyst will have an acute attention to detail and also possess strong analytical skills with the ability to take and analyze information and draw valid conclusions from data. The successful candidate must also possess strong Microsoft Office software skills, good written and oral communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, problem-solving skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.

Payroll Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a part-time Payroll Administrative Assistant. The Payroll Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Payroll Department as a whole, as well as assisting the Payroll Manager, to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll accounts. This is done while ensuring prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate service.

Primary responsibilities include:  

  • Packaging of all payroll accounts:
  • Balance and package payrolls.
  • Process pension online.
  • E-mail customer reports.
  • Verify payroll totals input by Payroll Accountant.
  • Handle disbursement of funds via mail, pick-up, FedEx, and direct deposit
  • Provide excellent customer service to payroll customers; troubleshoot problems, and answer questions.
  • Help balance and prepare quarterly and year-end state and federal reports (e.g., 941 DE6, W2, etc.).
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements of the position are a high school diploma or equivalent, an understanding of payroll processing is preferred. The Payroll Administrative Assistant must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work accurately with close attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
