Senior Project Manager
Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle within the Bank, including strategic projects and significant projects related to technology, product and business initiatives, and control procedures.
 
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
 
  • Managing and overseeing the Bank’s special projects and tasks under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer and assisting in performing and evaluating various activities related to administrative and internal processes.
  • Adopting a leadership role in managing change in a complex operating environment, including holding primary responsibility for implementing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to the Bank’s approved project governance policy, processes, and procedures.
  • Understanding and applying industry standard project management life cycle methodologies, while encouraging others to do the same.
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and tabulating verbal, statistical, or research data for report preparation for use by Bank management, as well as conducting research using reference works, literature, documents, regulatory periodicals and statistical records to obtain data for assigned subject matter.
  • Monitoring and implementing changes to the Bank’s policies, procedures and processes as required through the management of the project.
  • Responding to inquiries or referring inquiries to the appropriate department or person, and exhibiting the necessary follow through with business owners and/or staff involved.
  • Assisting Senior Management in implementing cost controls for special projects and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with budget.
  • Consistently applying superior decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits and using these instances as learning tools for employee development.
  • Processing, solving and answering complex transactions, processes, problems or inquiries.
  • Treating people with respect; keeping commitments; inspiring the trust of others; working ethically and with integrity; upholding and supporting the Bank’s goals and values; accepting responsibility for own actions.
  • Assuring compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations; adhering to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in business, or five years in related training. Project Management Certification is preferred. Additional requirements include a minimum of eight years of business experience, including proven project management skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and to consistently exhibit sound judgement and professionalism.
 
The successful Project Manager will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work and collaborate effectively across multiple departments and with individuals at all levels in the Company. Successful candidates must also demonstrate strong qualitative, analytic, and project management skills, as well as math skills, including the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions and percentages, and the ability to balance accounts and use these skills in all units of measure. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and the Microsoft Office suite will also contribute to success.

Electronic Banking Support

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for an Electronic Banking Support. The Electronic Banking Support is responsible for providing assistance to users of the Bank’s electronic banking technology. The ideal Electronic Banking Support will provide exceptional service to customers, both internal and external in the daily operations of electronic banking.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
 
  • Monitor customer service requests to ensure timely response (e.g., all phases of online banking – retail and business/corporate – including but not limited to: enrollment transactions, closing, Bill Payment, mobile, Remote Deposit capture, account questions or problems, future services and management reporting)
  • Work with vendors as directed; manage cases by following up and communicating with customer and Bank staff regarding known issues and their resolution
  •  Provide support to bank staff for electronic banking services sales, including initial product demos, enrollment contract completion and implementation support; attend customer site visits as needed
  • Provide support to bank staff with all questions relating to the use of back office functions for technology systems
  • Provide user training and create appropriate documentation
  • Ability to handle customer complaints with professional tone, assist and provide resolution as needed
  • Provide support to Electronic Banking Manager and assist with compliance, billing, reporting and customer reviews; assist with testing and implementation of new electronic banking products
 
Requirements of the position include a high school diploma, or equivalent, six (6) months banking experience, sufficient experience and knowledge of Electronic Service offerings to have gained an in-depth understanding of products offered, sufficient experience in technology to ensure understanding and resolution of technical issues associated with online banking products related experience, and possess a valid driver’s license.
The successful Electronic Banking Support will also possess basic word processing and computer database skills with accurate typing/keyboarding skills, good written and oral communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, problem-solving skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.

The Churn Creek office of Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a full-time Teller. The Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service and adding to the positive growth of the Bank by providing solutions to customer needs and promoting products and services tailored to our customers. This is done while ensuring prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate service.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Providing prompt, efficient service, including performing various financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and issuing cashier’s checks.
  • Assisting customers with payment processing and other tasks including safe deposit access, stop payments, interest rate quotes, and account inquiries.
  • Adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and balancing rules.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements of the position are a high school diploma or equivalent, and an understanding of banking laws and regulations. The Teller must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work accurately with close attention to detail, and have the ability to understand and describe Bank products and services, including cross-selling appropriate products and services. Tellers must also have a good understanding of safety issues and the ability to identify potential fraud and fraudulent items.
The successful Teller will also have excellent customer service and communication skills, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of professionalism.
