Part-Time Teller

The Churn Creek office of Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a Part-Time Teller. A typical schedule would be Monday through Friday from 12:15PM to 5:15PM, , working 5 hours daily, totaling 25 hours per week. The Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service and adding to the positive growth of the Bank by providing solutions to customer needs and promoting products and services tailored to our customers. This is done while ensuring prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate service.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Providing prompt, efficient service, including performing various financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and issuing cashier’s checks.
  • Assisting customers with payment processing and other tasks including safe deposit access, stop payments, interest rate quotes, and account inquiries. 
  • Adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and balancing rules.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements of the position are a high school diploma or equivalent, and an understanding of banking laws and regulations. The Teller must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work accurately with close attention to detail, and have the ability to understand and describe Bank products and services, including cross-selling appropriate products and services. Tellers must also have a good understanding of safety issues and the ability to identify potential fraud and fraudulent items.
The successful Teller will also have excellent customer service and communication skills, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of professionalism.

Centralized Banking Representative (Deposit)

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a Centralized Banking Representative (Deposit). The Centralized Banking Representative is responsible for providing service to departments within the Bank, and adding to the positive growth of the Bank by providing solutions to departmental needs as directed by the Centralized Banking Supervisor. Flexible scheduling may be required.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Process data files and reports with strong attention to detail; pull data and perform data entry to facilitate the needs of the Centralized Banking department.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to department management in a clear concise manner.
• Complete computations, forms, reports and other documents with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver a high level of customer service by working to promptly identify issues (and/or elevating them as needed), and providing frequent communications and updates to customers regarding resolution progress.
• Accurately perform account and transactional input, with strong attention to detail.
• Provide assistance and training to Centralized Banking team members, as needed.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.
• This position requires flexible work hours.
 
Requirements of the position are a high school diploma or equivalent, and Banking and Operations experience is preferred. The Centralized Banking Representative must also maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, work accurately with close attention to detail, as well as possess the ability to understand and describe Bank products and services in a concise manner.

Credit Analyst

Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for a Credit Analyst. The Credit Analyst will assist with the loan process by spreading and analyzing current credit and financial information for commercial/business individual customers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
 
  • Enter financial figures into appropriate programs to generate ratios
  • Analyze credit and financial information (e.g., credit reports, tax returns, financial statements, etc.) to determine credit worthiness and risk involved in lending money to commercial/business individual customers
  • Assist Relationship Managers with the loan process by preparing credit approval reports for streamline underwriting of small business loans
  • Track and update tickler system; send financial request letters and perform maintenance
 
Requirements of the position include an Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent related experience, two years of experience in commercial industry is preferred, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience in Banking.
The successful Credit Analyst will also possess solid word processing skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, loan software and Core system. The successful candidate must also possess close attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, problem-solving skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.

Electronic Banking Support

Redding Bank of Commerce has an immediate need for an Electronic Banking Support. The Electronic Banking Support is responsible for providing assistance to users of the Bank’s electronic banking technology. The ideal Electronic Banking Support will provide exceptional service to customers, both internal and external in the daily operations of electronic banking.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Monitor customer service requests to ensure timely response (e.g., all phases of online banking – retail and business/corporate – including but not limited to: enrollment transactions, closing, Bill Payment, mobile, Remote Deposit capture, account questions or problems, future services and management reporting)
  • Work with vendors as directed; manage cases by following up and communicating with customer and Bank staff regarding known issues and their resolution
  • Provide support to bank staff for electronic banking services sales, including initial product demos, enrollment contract completion and implementation support; attend customer site visits as needed
  • Provide support to bank staff with all questions relating to the use of back office functions for technology systems
  • Provide user training and create appropriate documentation
  • Ability to handle customer complaints with professional tone, assist and provide resolution as needed
  • Provide support to Electronic Banking Manager and assist with compliance, billing, reporting and customer reviews; assist with testing and implementation of new electronic banking products
Requirements of the position include a high school diploma, or equivalent, six (6) months banking experience, sufficient experience and knowledge of Electronic Service offerings to have gained an in-depth understanding of products offered, sufficient experience in technology to ensure understanding and resolution of technical issues associated with online banking products related experience, and possess a valid driver’s license.
The successful Electronic Banking Support will also possess basic word processing and computer database skills with accurate typing/keyboarding skills, good written and oral communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, problem-solving skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.
